i am looking at new clutches and I am not for sure what to get.
I have the XTM slider clutch on my 24.7 and I just dont think its worth a crap.
The werks clutch is too expensive,
What about the ofna purple 3 shoe aluminum?
If so which springs? Medium maybe or would I want stiff?
I also saw the Nova aluminum shoes.
Anybody running these?
Could I use the stock flywheel from my mammoth?
What are you running?

Thanks, Wes

I'm running the savage 25 shoes with the s-25 and have a good hook up. any aaluminum shoes whould have even better bite. so the aluminum Nova, Ofna, and new HPI ones should be plenty.

novaracingproducts.com i beleive. or you could search ebay for " nova clutch shoes."

Well I finally ordered some, got the mugen shoes with mugen 1.0 springs.
Hope these work better then the XTM slipper!

I'm using the mugen ones on a mugen flywheel, they're ok, but if I had the chance to do it over again, I wouldn't get them, I'd get some al. ones.

Now, arawak, do you actually own/run the nova shoes? Cause you seem to be reccomending them to everyone, but you have no first-hand experience comments to share...

I purchased the aluminum mugen shoes.
I would have gotten the nova but I could not find any on ebay

i've heard nothing but GREAT things about the nova shoes. they are adjustable and nova just makes good all around products. i do have the towers and cooling head. won't hesitate to buy Nova products.

actually i ordered some shoes and they sent me a cooling head instead. i wasn't going to complian casue the shhoes were $27 shipped and the cooling head was $50 shipped. there are a few that run the nova shoes and added quick take-off and wheelies are an ease.

lol, ok, just wanted to make sure you wern't reccomending them w/o seeing them in action or anything... :hammer:

are the nova shoes that much better?I'm in market for new shoes.I have a .30 engine and the stock savage ones dont like it.

Nova springs are soft and wear out fast.

Spend the coin and get the Kyosho Kanai Shoesw/ Mugen Springs.
