clutch question

it doesn't mess up the shoe? they seem pretty soft to me, i dont want to mess them up

You could try it the other way around... Wedge the spring in one shoe and align the two shoes... then wedge the spring onto the other with a flathead driver.

I think the stock maxx shoes are graphite or the like... Dunno, but they seemed a bit powdery.

Just don't stretch the spring out or it won't work right! I know this from my buggy who's clutch never worked right till I got a new spring and put it on right.

well now that i finally got a clutch that works, i can try to get the carb tuned in right.... so soon ill be asking questions about that he he. thanks guys
