brand new revo 3.3 only 2 tanks into the break in of the engine and engine idles fine but when i apply throttle i can see the slipper clutch friction pads spin but thats it, truck doesn't go anywhere. now i can tightn slipper clutch a little and get some movement out of it but then it just stops gripping and engine revs high. if i tightn the pads it wont start because its tryn to spin the wheels, if i loosen it just a tad it just spins and i give it gas and its like it wont engage, I dont know what could be broke or something i can do to fix it???? need help...thanks...

The slipper clutch has to be tight enough to transfer the power to the trans. Tighten it until it gently bottoms then back off 1/8-1/4 turn.
As for the wheels spinning, how high is the idle? Is the trim turned up on your radio? Some adjustment here may be necessary to get it to stay running and not spin the wheels.

seems either its to tight and wants to take off when i try to start it or its to loose and wont grab. i've tried backing the nut off even 1/16 of a turn and its either one or the other can't find the sweet spot.... even a few times i got it to crank and it was going fine then just like it slipped into neutral and stopped and started to rev really high because the clutch had no friction on it, could anything else be preventing the clutch from working right????

It sounds like the actual clutch is broken (the one inside the clutch bell) and you are trying to use the slipper to compensate. Pull the engine out and pull the clutch bell off to make sure nothing is broken or binding. (hint: if you spin the clutch bell and it makes a ringing sound, something is broken)

Well first off all You stated 2 tanks into break in. Well were you following the traxxas break in precedures? Cause your not supposed to give it full throttle till about the last tank on the break in. But yeah Pull your motor out and spin your clutch bell if it makes a weird noise then you broke something. It sounds to me like you broke your clutch spring that hold the shoes together
