I am currently running my Savage 25 stock but noticed it came with an additional clutch bell. I believe it comes stock with a 15t clutch bell and the extra is a 18t clutch bell. At this time I mostly run it on road and occasionally off road. hopefully more off than on... What is the difference in performance from the 15 compared to the 18t?

Thanks,
Craig

18t will give you more top end speed, use it when you want to race. 15t is good for low end, i.e. wheelies and spins. Have fun!

18t is not recommended for off road use as it kills the low end needed for off road, strictly for on road high speed use, the 15t is a good all around gear for on and off road, gives good low end and still have decent top end. TRD Streetfighter has a chart he can probably post or pm to you that explains all the different gearing combos for the Savage.
