I was wondering if someone can post some basic info on clutch bells and spur gears....etc. like how they work together, the difference between having different amounts of teeth, how they effect how the truck runs, where they fit in with the transmission and engine....blah blah blah. My savage is pretty new and it looks like many posts on this forum atleast mention these parts. Thanks so much guys!

Thanks. But that thread does not answer any question i previously posted. I allready used the search function and couldnt find any answers.

Smaller cb or larger spur = more torque, quicker starts and lower top speed.

Larger cb or smaller spur = less torque, slower starts and higher top speed.

Other factors influencing final drive ratio are transmission or center diff input/output ratio and front/rear differential ratios.

Thanks! That helps out a lot. Now I can start narrowing down exactly what I want to put in based on the kind of performance I'm looking for.
