Clowns strike again

Well I was sitting here today and thought hey how about grabbing the camera and the Revo and go make a video. So I load it all up drive over to my local bashing spot set the camera up at the one jump:. Fire up the ole Revo let here get warmed up and take a few practice jumps before turning on the camera. Well I make a few passes hitting the jump pretty good. So I take one more pass, as car hits second gear the rear breaks loose sending my Revo off the jump sideways. I land and go cartwheeling across the ground, Revo manages to land on its wheels but I notice the idle is a lot higher. So I walk over and ground is covered in fuel, I have a nice gouge in fuel tank. I looked around and it appears one of Mr. Cleans clowns strategically placed a rock in my path:horsecrap. So no video and over half a tank of fuel wasted along with a tank.

ahh just gonna get a new one they are only 15 bucks plus i think I am gonna get a aluminum guard for added protection.

When you hit 'Post Reply', look at the bottom of the dialog box, you'll see 12 listed there. Off to the left in Blue it says Smilies [More].....click that bad boy and you'll see more than you can ever imagine.....LOL

i put the tekno reciever box on mine and the tank from the mbx 5t on there. that is the thickest plastic on a tank i think i have ever seen. plus its a bit bigger then the stocker.

If you aren't racing you can go with a good bit bigger tank and not have to fill it up as much.

JMO but i had one on the Savage, just ONE bad landing or ONE miss-placed rock and off she goes...i got another one basicly just for looks...and added weight.

F'n Clowns. If we had hit them hard when the problems first started we could have squashed their little effort. We try to "negotiate" with them and, "open a meaningful dialogue"....now we are facing a full blown Clown insurgency..
