Why would you want to clone your dog,

I guess I am not really against or with cloneing, although i think it is weird but I can see both issues of cloneing,

I'm with Nitrost...Thats kinda wrong

but it would be kinda good if like it got hit by a car and all you have to do is put a little packet in your microwave for about 3 1/2 mins and BAM good as new cloned dog!...lol

theres my 2 1/2 cents

its not to clone dogs because we need more, it was a test to see if they could successfully clone them. Like a lab rat, ya know? Anyway, I'm not sure if I'm for it or against it because I dont know about it to much, but I do know that it kinda scares the poop out of me.. If I had to say a for or against, I think Id say against.

dogs today, the animals you eat tomorrow, your brother that died in a car accident after that. against.

What make you think is not already being done?
I'm sure in some lab 197 stories below a corn field in Kansas they are much closer or far past any of our worst nightmares.

I agree w/ everyone...against...
I also agree w/ Ed....we'd be pretty naive to think they aren't doing whatever the fiddlesticks they want w/ cloning technologies......hasn't the past record on stuff like this shown us they really don't care what the masses think about playing god...

I am against cloneing. We should have the technology to clone, but only clone certain things. Say somebody has a bad liver, we should be able to clone a new one, and transplant it. That would be useful I think. Cloning a whole person is just wrong and I can see many things that could go wrong, the technology of cloneing has to be limited.

Parts is parts go for it. I may someday need a liver or a heart but when it comes to entire creatures I have to think twice. I know the technology is needed and is important but we need to draw the line.

Lets see. We need to train out troupes and them de-sensitized to death so lets clone some targets for them to train with. Hell lets just play god and engender a super bread of fighting troupes. What happens when they aren't needed.

On the other hand, If we don't do it will we be willing to just sit back and send our *real* men into battle with engineered troupes from another country. Where does it end. If there is government money being used we all know this is where it will end up.

I wouldn't be surprised if its already not only being done by us but by others as well.

OK time to take my meds....
