Heh!

Last weekend when running the MAXX, I heard a clicking noise, I assumed it was one of the diffs, so I bought a pair of new complete diffs on Ebay from one of those sellers who part new T-MAXXs out.

Anyway, today was teardown day and upon examination the diffs seemed fine.

I opened the gearbox and discovered the source of the noise, some broken teeth on one of the main gears.

I am to blame for this, as my slipper clutch friction pegs were a little worn, so I overtightened the slipper.

Anyway, nothing too serious, I just hope my experience will teach those new to T-MAXXes to never take shortcuts on routine maintenance :p
