Okay so I was bored and went to the baseball diamond at my local school and I ripped it all up.

How does one clean a nitro car? lol

I know you can't use water pressure because there are electrical components, but using a cloth and q-tips seems to tedious lol

Any quick ways?

You can get Nitro Cleaner at your LHS or online, but you can also use what I use. Go to your local auto parts store and buy a can of electric motor cleaner. Guess what? It is the exact same stuff but without the "R/C" name brand price. It cleans well and evaporates quickly. It is safe to spray on electrical components, but please avoid soaking the servos and receiver. I use the same stuff to hose out my electric can motors--it's what it was made for!:D

For arms and frame a little WD40 brushed on lightly before bashing keeps mud from sticking--making clean up easier.

Good luck!

oh wow thank you very much friend that is very helpful, just so happens that I work at a manufacturing place that has that stuff. I'll ask my boss if I can buy a can! thanks again!!

do what i do..make your wife clean:)

ppffffffaaaahahhahahahhah oh god I wish it was like that, I'm only 19 years old. all I get are girlfriends. and I get to many.

I get one gf, find a hotter one, go out with her, repeat lol

But.

Yes. I will have my current gf clean it...try to get her to clean it... she cleans less than I do!! gotta train her ;) lmao

No offense to all you girls who read this!! lolol

I would not let my wife touch my RC's!!! She'd just throw the whole thing in the dishwasher or something like that!lol
Seriously, the best method is to take it apart and clean it. It saves you money on parts in the long run. You will be amazed at where dirt finds it's way to.

lol @ the dishwasher

I would take it apart but I don't have any locktite so I'd rather not knock anything loose... I'll just do what I can with q-tips and that electric cleaner lol
