I have the old maxx. Just got some parts from a friend. The new A arms are bigger and longeer. Are these longer ones the ones that come on the 2nd Gen. t maxx or the new tmaxx.

2nd generation TMaxx 2.5 model 4910 and all later models use the Wide a-arms. Only the old pro.15 narrow maxx had the short a arms.

No the classic and 4910 2.5 tmaxx chassis is shorter than the new 3.3 maxx. By an inch i believe.

Yup and what a huge difference that inch and width and the extra width u get from the carriers. Whole new machine.

Yes it is. This maxx we upgraded for my dad isnt even the same truck anymore. But it still doesn't handle like the revo!

Well when you have a 1 inch longer chassis and another 1inch on each side longer arms it makes for a huge difference in handling. The new 3.3 tmaxx is a ton less flip happy than the older classic and 4910 2.5 tmaxx.

The difference on the revo that makes it handle so much better is the onboard shocks make its suspension more independent. Also the chassis set up and all electronics and engine with rear exaust along with the lower center of gravity all just makes it so much more stable. The suspension set up will allow the revo to walk at an angle down steps like a spider. All tires stay in constant contact with the ground. Its cool as heck to watch it do so. Go to the traxxas site and check out the advertising videos on the 3.3 revo.
