After a while the chrome on the plastic wheels begins to fade or peel. Does anyone know of a plastic chromeing kit that you can do yourself?

I dont think there is a "chroming kit" But u could try to clean the tire off with Denatured alcohol or soemthing and use a chrome spray paint, I think Spaz stix, and Flaskcolor makes chrome paint.

GOt any pics by chance?? I wanna paint my reciever box, battery box and tranny case.

I can't stand chrome on my real cars (looks like cheap plastic and way to gawdy) but ironicly I love it on my RC cars. The RPM chrome wheels look awesome until it starts to wear off (which is to soon IMO).

I'm thinking of trading a new set of RPM Clawz in CHROME for some dyable wheels. Look in FastEddy's gallery, the red wheels on his CyberMaxx are RPM dyeable. THey look sweet if you ask me and the finish should last allot longer then "Chrome" as it's dyed into the plastic.

Peace
