I have seen pictures of bodies that have been painted, and ocassionally something will be painted chrome...and it actually looks like real chrome. I can't find this paint, the only things I can find are silver or metalic silver. But these dont even come close to the pictures I have seen. How do these guys make it look so real? Any suggestions?

Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome.

Hands down the best chrome you can buy for painting polycarbonate. If you can't find that, look for Alclad II Chrome. But the Spaz Stix should be easier to find.
This is what it looks like if you paint the whole body:

Candyman turned me on to Spaz Stix chrome a while back. I've also tried Alclad, but Spaz is by far the ultimate.
This is truly MIRROR chrome. I've never seen anything like it.

same here, I've used spaz stix with a black backer, came out good, I've also used spaz stix color changing paint with great success
