Had a rub issue with my motor saver neck and my spur gear. Actually cut a small hole in it, good thing i caught it before it started shredding the neck into the carb. :S

Jimmied a fix for it tonight. mounted the motor saver itself to the stock Revo/Slayer air filter neck. Works pretty darn good. The 3 screws that are on the traxxas one tapped right into the base ring on the motor saver, added a bit of CA for good measure. See how it holds up tomorrow i guess. :)

Will watch it closely to see if i need to rig up a mount for the front like the traxxas ones had.

I'm hoping so. raining tonight so i'll have to wait for another day to see if it holds up.

Ok, I feel kinda dumb asking, but I don't know what a motor saver neck is...

motorsaver is a brand of air filter. the "neck" is the piping that leads from the filter element to the carb opening.

Thank you, I was at a total loss as to what I was looking at there
