that isnt what it sounds like.. but anyway i need to know is there a difference between the rear diffs with 2 screws on the cover or 4.. both are metal inside just seem like different covers but i can't tell?? anyone know?

this is what I'm talking about

these are the two diffs that i have, either one better than the other??

Hmmm I've always wondered the same thing.
I think it has to do with the four screw one has no need for a coupler brace and the two screw one needs that little bulk brace thingy

The 4 screw diffs are the newer type.Traxxas redesigned these for less flex.
These should be more durable.I believe the internals are exactly the same in both.

i see very little difference to the naked eye, even after i got dressed still nothing.. but i did notice while changing them that my drive shafts seem just a little to short for this truck so if anyone has some for the wider a's that needs some for the norm or maybe i should just switch to the widetrack kit that i found, i need to be smart and not spend anymore money on this thing, was concidering selling this one with the custom built tranny, titanium chassis, braces, driveshafts and axles, newer style bearing and a real nice radio, and get me a heli (atleast 1/10 or bigger) and a stadium truck, something stock that my kids could play and i could jam with friends now that i have alot of land to my disposal (about 5 acres) and was talking to the landlord and i might get an ok so make a track back there to have some fun with a few others in this area.. i have alot in this truck and i dont get to jam it like i want to...

this is that widetrac kit i was talking about.http://www.unlimitedengineering.com/wt-susp.shtml

If you are going to sell it then how much do you want for the wide kit?

couldnt really sell it in pieces, need to get raid of all of it but I'm not sure what i really want to do

The 4 screw diffs are the 3.3 version, the 2 screw are for earlier versions. They are interchangable but the 4 screw version flexes less and has less chance of breaking the ring gear to diff cup screws.
