I ran my Revo this past weekend and it stopped moving. Engine would rev, but no go anywhere.

Turned out to be the slipper clutch, which was yanked out Monday night and rebuilt and installed last night. Runs great now.

Anyhow, my point to this post is this. Check out the Revo owner's instruction and owner's manual. Look at the page that gives the slipper clutch parts breakdown. Now go over to the warranty and parts list with the more precise parts break downs (exploded views) Notice anything different?

In the parts explosion drawing in the owner's manual they show a NL nut, one washer, A SPRING, and the the spur gear. On the other parts explosion drawing, they show a NL nut, TWO WASHERS, and then the spur gear. Weird. The latter is the correct assembly.

just a typo error,
as long as you got it back together the way it came apart and all is well,,its all good ,
does the revo still use the 6 or 12 pegs for the slipper??
just curious

The error was not a typo, it was a completely different exploded view drawing showing two different assemblies for the same slipper clutch. There must have been a production change after they published the owner's manual.

The Revo does not use the pegs like a T-Maxx. It uses what looks like three small brake pads that engage against a steel ring. Works pretty good and no start up chatter.
