Does anyone know of any other place to get low priced glow plugs, besides towerhobbies? My LHS is a little expensive.

Also how often do glow plugs need to be changed??

They don't have any good plugs for the t-maxx

Indeed they do. I'd suggest McCoy MC-59, It is a hot plug, So if your using it in a cold weather, Retune, You should always check the temp after putting in a new plug and just running your r/c in general. I've also ran a O.S. #8 Plug in my T-Maxx 2.5 and it worked, But i'd rather stick with a long plug. I dont know however where they are cheapest, I will check back here because I need one cheaper than 5.12!

I'd suggest any of those on that page except, The O.S. F and R5.

$2.39 each if you buy 48....SWEET!!!

Hmmm, give the guys at the track a sweet deal @ $3.00 ea and I get 10 free.

Man I love this country!!

Mr T

Tower hobbies has the the original tmaxx longs plugs for $4 and the duratrax plug especially for the 2.5 maxx for $3. Those are teh cheapest I've found plugs for the tmaxx

IDK where you can get a cheap plug, however, i have a trx2.5 in my rustler and it runs really good stock on the Traxxas plugs (medium i think). I have been going with what the manual says and havent had one bit of engine trouble yet

Here is a place with good prices on plugs. They have many diff. brands.

Well I looked on ebay and found some cheap ones. 6 Traxxas long glow plugs $15.

I got my glow plugs off ebay. I bought a card of McCoy MC-59 plugs. I think there was like 12 on the card. It was a lot better deal than gettin em at the LHS. Also, atleast for me, 12 plugs is lasting FOREVER cause i hardly ever foul one out. Anyhoo, thats just my 2 cents.

Are there any ways on how to help your glow plug last?

I always take my plug and squirt some denatured alchohol on it to claen all the burnt on stuff.
