Anodizing is the best possible surface for paint adhesion. No special primers or anything like that normally associated with painting aluminum is required. Bare aluminum is highly reactive with air. It doesn't matter what you do to get the surface bare, chemically or mechanically, because it immediately begins to reform oxide to protect itself. An anodized surface is non-reactive, when exposed to air. That's why it stays the same over long amounts of time. Because it is inert there's no need to apply any type of chemical or paint primer. Also, anodizing aluminum surfaces leave the surface somewhat porous, so it has ideal properties for letting the paint "grip" the surface. Aluminum that has been anodized well will hold paint so well you can bend, fold, or even hammer it without breaking the paint.
i just painted my chassis wasn't to bad all i would say is let it completely cure i was in a hurry and scratched mine easy once it hard you are good to go
