chassis for pro 15 maxx??

I'm looking for a chassis to replace the one in my original pro .15 maxx that i recently rebuilt after is sat for almost 9 years. the stock chassis is very slightly tweaked and there is a slight indention in the shape of the bottom of the engine mount where it bolts to the chassis. not to mention the chassis is pretty flimsy anyway.

i can't seem to find a chassis that is the original pro .15 length. i thought the 3.3 maxxs came with an extended chassis but all the chassis I've seen say they are for 2.5/3.3 maxxs. also I'm not looking to spend $100 plus on a flm set up. just trying to find a chassis that is a quality piece, sturdy, and relatively inexpensive. if anyone could give me some suggestions or lead me in the right direction thatd be great. thanks yal.

Depending on you skills you have if it was me i would pick up some aluminium and build my own custom chassis that way you'll have exactly what you want no compromise!Just my thoughts but thats me.

Contact Joe at East End Machining. He has some very nice stock original maxx length chassis, but sweet cnc milled versions. I am sure he can hook you up with a much nicer chassis than the stock version. I believe the only color he has left though is the silver.

that chassis says its for the 3.3 maxx and 2.5 as well. now i thought the 3.3 maxxs came with a longer chassis than the 2.5 or pro 15? now which versions of the maxx have the longer chassis or are they all the same? that chassis is in my price range tho.

Well I'm pretty sure the pro .15 and the 2.5 chassis are the same. The way they are differant is the widemaxx suspension on the 2.5. Just the 3.3 has a longer chassis.

The pro 15 and the 2.5 are both the same size. I know for a fact these are .15 2.5 maxx size. He is a personal friend of mine, I have been to his shop and seen these in person. If I didn't already have the Racers Edge Chassis on my maxx I would pick up one of these in a heartbeat.

thats what i thought. just got confused because all the chassis I've looked at say they are for 3.3 and 2.5 maxxs. i realize all the parts will still fit with the exception of the chassis braces and rear driveline. if the 2.5 and 3.3 are different length then why are all the chassis I've found advertised as fitting both?

also was looking at rd logics chassis for 3.3 and 2.5 on ebay. yal know if that is 2.5 length as well?

There are different model numbers for the 3.3,not all were extended. If you want a better upgraded chassis,buy one of those listed above. If you just want a stock replacement,hit me up with a PM. I'll hook you up cheap.
