I bought a couple new bateries and it seems like there takin forever to charge. Ther Mega Volt 3000 mah 7.2v. I was wondering when i charge them do i charge em at the 1-2 amp seting or would it hurt if it turned it up to 6-7. I am charging them on a black widdow charger. THanks for your time.

That depends on how long you want your battery to last.

I'd put it on 3000milliamps (3 amps) since it will take 1 hour to charge.
 
are they NiMH or NiCd? NiCd's can be charged at 2x safely. New batts also take a while. I'd keep the lower amperage and let them charge for a while.
 
Cool ill stick to the lower amp rate thanks for your time.
