I asked amainhobbies what would work to get me up and running without spending too much right now. I told them it was for the rtr savage x4.6 I ordered from them. I've had some people questioning whether the hump will fit the truck. I'll upgrade charger later once I figure out if I'm gonna be able to tune and maintain a nitro. Fingers crossed. Don't have it yet but should be here next tue. If anyone can let me know if this will fit I'd be grateful .

The hump pack will fit, i got a similar one in the savage. If u want, you can check out ebay also.

Thanks. I found a new HPI hump pack for $19.99 on another site. I think it's a 1200. Not sure which is better??

I didn't understand much of what I read. Sorry man but I've been out of the game for 20 years and nimh, lipo and so on are over my head. Just gonna take me some time before I understand the difference in batteries. I just need to know black and white: reasonably priced charger that is good for all batts/ what hump is best that will fit. I want to make sure I'm gonna stay in rc before I start spending a lot. Thanks for the link though. I'll try and make sense of it
