Very nice Savage man... The "Charge Jack" mod is a great idea..
One of the great benefits of these forums is learning different tricks, techniques & mods to make their RC experience that much better. With that said, would you mind sharing just how you did this great time saving modification?
Parts used, and a basic "how to" maybe? I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated...

Wow, that is a nice rig, and a sweet mod. Good thinkin man. Looks really professional.

Thats a great job!!
Please let us know how it was done.

thats a clean install man. i just have the white plug hanging out a hole in the cover. it works.

Yes, but you do a mod like that, and you don't have a small hole in your reciever box.

I built this sav from parts (never was a kit) wanted to make it tough as hell and make my buddys drool so i just couldn't have a hole in the radio box i admit that a hole would work just fine though don't think for one second that this is a shelf queen it gets beat up every week whether it needs it or not cost a lot more to fix it though when it breaks it breaks big time but you build them to break them right
Its just money lol

If I could only get my wife to think like that LOL

i try to keep mine in the dark about my second love. lol
need to start a new thread on how to get spouse approval
for spending too much on rc or how to lie about it. :ponder2: lol

That is great!! Really nice job. I just notched the bottom of my lid and have the wires neatly hanging out the side. The only problem with the setup here is that now it's going to keep eating at me to get a new lid and buy the other parts to do this mod, meaning having to spend more money.....again lol.
