Changing a spur gear on tmaxx 2.5

how hard is it to change a spur gear on a tmaxx 2.5?

Fairly easy. Just remove the tank so you can gain better access to the nut. You might as well also remove the engine since you will have to set you gear mesh with the CB anyway. This will really open it up.

Your best bet is to go onto Traxxas' website. They have directions, and skematics on how to do it.

One quick question.

I am ready to drop in a picco .21 on my maxx. Should it let it strip the factory gears first or replace it right now? I have ordered RRP steel gears and it is on its way.
