Centre diff?

My god, after all these years you continue to impress me with your complete lack of patience and overall butthead-ish attitude. So he got a bit defensive... big deal. Back in the day there used to be a few really good members around here that were willing to help people in a manner that was siginificantly more valuable than r/c. Posts like this, from members like you really assist me in wondering what this forum has come to. Is this acceptable now? I for one am tired of it. In my eyes it is your attitude that isn't wanted around here.

What? The kid comes over here with very few posts, gives some information that was corrected then blows up like a fire cracker? I don't care what forum you choose to join, you have to prove yourself to other people before you arent considered a "newb". I never said anythig negative except with his bad attitude about being corrected and saying he wanted to quit the site because he was called out, that we don't want that kind of person here. If someone wants to spout off like that, then I'm for damn sure going to call him/her out on it.

Did some reading & some fiddling, I reckon I'm gonna find what I want in the suspension without going to a centre diff.
Suspension setup was basically stock just with the long travel springs from the kit & 65wt shock oil, was also on the lowest setting.
I'm gonna bring it back up to the mid setting, fit a set of sway bars, dial in some more front caster & more camber all round, fit a single high torque steering servo, do a RPM true track rear conversion & stick some fresh tyres on it then tune the suspension from there.
I'm probably asking a bit much from it really - high speed runs in big open tarmack carparks, hard bashing on BMX tracks, lotsa jumps etc etc. Finding a suspension setup that works for all that is going to be tricky, chances are I'll have to have a couple of different suspension setups written down to suit what I'm going to do with it.

Cheers for the input from everyone.

Just bought the center diff, I will install and tell you how it goes. Also I replaced my P3 push rods with the shorter p1's I think. They are from lundsford. I also just changed out my standard 3.3 shocks for the GTR version. I also put in the Aluminum rockers I dont think they are long travel they look exactly the same as the 120t ones. It really seems to have my revo have a much more balanced "stance" the truck did lose a bit of travel but I'm not rock crawling lol. It still has lots of travel but now has a much more aggressive feel to it. Now if I could only get my Picco installed.

Some diff oil weights to try in revo stock trans. 20k in front 10k in rear

With center diff. 10k in center 7k in front and 5 k in rear.

This will help the front end pull you through turns while allowing the back to break loose a little to prevent understeer from pushing you through turns. The center diff weight is to keep power going to the front even if the rear unloads.

With center diff. 10k in center 7k in front and 5 k in rear.

That center diff oil wt works well in a buggy/truggy with a 6 spider 1/8th scale center diff but will not work well at all in the Revo CD.

The stock Revo CD comes with 100K oil which is way to thin (just about useless) for that 10th scale 4 spider CD diff in a MT. Most people will change the oil to 500K which is the thickest readily available diff oil you can often find, and it still causes the diff to unload too much to the front in certain situations.
Changing the diff cup and internals to the ERevo diff which has the I beam support and side spider pin support plates reduces the internal volume in the cup and makes the 500K oil act like it is thicker than it is. This combination will suite most people while some will still mix their own thicker custom blend of oil to get every advantage they can.
