I'm gonna need to reduce the action of the centre diff to work with the new picco .28 motor.

I've got 500k oil in there now, but that ain't gonna cut it!

I don't want a locked centre, but I don't want to blow the front tyres off the rims all the time either, so I need a compromise that'll allow the diff to work, but reduce the amount of power fed to the front wheels.

Now, I'm reading about silly putty, blutack, thick grease etc being used in centre diffs, but not much feedback on what works well.

Any ideas?

I prefer plumbers putty. You will need to replace the putty after every gallon as it breaks down and the diff action loosens up but it works well and the diff action stays consistant for the gallon compared to silly putty which breaks down sooner.
