I'm putting together my new tmaxx build and hit a bit of a snag. I'm using a standard 3.3 trans, bulks, and diffs in a UE chassis. Standard cvds for a 3.3...front is too long(no big deal I can cut it) but the rear is way too short. Even my 105mm UE shaft has a lot of end to end slop using their cups for the rear. Where am I getting my length issue from?

How much slop in the bone to cups? Most often a small o-ring is inserted in the base of the cups before the bone is installed to keep the slack to a minimum and keep the bone centered between both cups.
Thunder chasssis, or Predator with a monobock?

I shimmed the rear and cut the front to get things to fit so I think I'm set for now...I still would like to use my UE shaft in the front but I need to find a cup with the pins to fit the 3.3 brake. Still not sure how length will work on that though.

It's definitly a thunder chassis.

How about using the cup with brake pins from the fast lane machines 16055 kit?

I have it on my maxx and it's working very well.
