Hello i have a serpent 720 and the centax clutch on it is giving me a hard time. The engine must revive up to a very high rpm for the clutch to engine.

My question is, Is there an aftermarket clutch from Werks or that i can use in my car?

Is a there a simplier aftermarket clutch for the serpent 720?

I don't know specifically about the Serpent centax clutch, but you have tried to adjust it- right? Typically, on a centax, you can insert a pointy object into the adjustment collar and loosen or tighten the spring that holds the pressure plate against the shoes. In your situation, you would want to loosen the spring collar, to make it engage sooner.

I tried that

I have tried to loose it the collar to make the clutch engage sooner. That is not working out.

Right now i am fed-up with the car, and now I considering getting rid of it, because of the issues i am having with the centax. I love to find a simplier system.

I would suggest taking the clutch apart, inspecting all the parts, bearings, etc. Make a note, as you take it apart, how it goes, so you can reassemble it in the reverse sequence. Are the shoes worn? Is the pressure plate worn? Post some pics.
