Howdy folks,
I have a Cen Mt2 that I've been running alittle bit. It has a bit of a problem. When going along about 3/4 to full throttle, it will suddenly bog down real bad, If i let off of it and get back in it it'll be alright, but will bog down eventually agian. I don't think it's anything with the engine, I leaned it out a little the other day but it still has plenty of smoke coming from it. So what in the tranny or clutch could cause this? It's a 2spd tranny. I'm pretty dumb to these little things, I'm a diesel mechanic by trade, but don't know about these things.

Thanks,
Willy

After thinking a bit more, could it be to lean even tho, there's plenty of smoke, and not to high of temp?

I think it is to lean also. I had a os21 with this problem, so i went the other way and richened it just for the hell of it, it screamed.

are you adjusting the low speed or the high speed? with that much throttle it needs high speed adjustment.

I'm adjusting the big screw, the one that you adjust after break in to lean it out. I gues I'll just need to play with it some and see what I can figure out. Next question, my section gear is showing alot more wear than first, is this normal? I would reckon that time should be about the same between em, I don't do just to much cruzing on the street with it. Last question, do you ever have to grease the differentials? Sorry for so many questions, just trying to learn some about these.

i'm not too sure, but that sounds like the low-speed needle. you need to adjust high

Alrighty, I'm just stupid I guess, I can't figure it out. I turned the screw back a bit and it got rid of my stumbling out problem. But I've got hanging RPM's when I let off the throttle, and it aint going as fast as it should. Takes off like a rocket but, dont have the top speed, almost sounds like it's stuck in 1st gear. Any Idears?
