Well I ordered a CEN CT4S and should have recieved it today, but we are snowed in and UPS is not running. That sucks! I was looking forward to tinkering with my new ride. Oh well, I will post some pics and give it a review after I break her in & get her running.

Anyone else have one? I did a search and it didn't seem like it. If so, give me some feedback on it.

Later.....

I do not have one but am full on curious as to how this car runs. It does a clamimed 74 to 76 mph stock. I had a discussion a while back with another member as to the validity of how fast it would in fact go. He did some math calculations and said it wasn't possible for it to do that stock. I would be curious as to how fast it does in fact go. I know it will hit close to that. Can't wait for the review man.

You never know. They say math is a constant but then again they said that a bumble bee should crawl from flower to flower because the thrust ratio of the wings are insufficient to provide enough lift. Also said the sound barrier couldn't be broken because of the violent instability ... planes broke the barrier and so did a land vehicle.

I say go for it ... when your CT4 comes in and the weather breaks, give it all she's worth (after break in of course)

Diver I look at it like this company's make big claims all the time. Hell my RS4 3SS on the box said 60+MPH on the box. I thought to myself whoa I wanna see that for myself. Out of the box it did like 45 I think. Still I was a noob and was very impressed. CEN on the CT4S homepage has a video of it being clocked at their claimed rated speed whatever it was with a radar gun. I tend to beleive that more than I do someone with a math equation honestly. If the schumacher menace can do it I know this car can too. Again can't wait for the review. Late

I saw a review on it in the June issue of an R/C mag ... they said it was fast out of the box but had to tweak the settings after break-in to get it to go 60+. I'm gonna search my magazine stack and look for the article. I almost bought it when I was looking for a car but then realized it's rtr. I prefer kits.

If anyone knows of reviews on this vehicle, I'm sure they'll post.

The only review I have been able to find is by RC Nitro Magazine. You can check it out at:

CEN CT4S Review

The review is pretty decent, but the car they reviewed was an early prototype with a slower engine in it. Anyway check it out, & I will leave my own review as soon as the brown santa (UPS) brings my goodies.

Later.....

After reading that review, I realized it was the one i was talking about. Please post a review once you have the car broken in and adjusted. I am curious about that engine the are including with the rtr kit.

I have also been curious about cen cars for a while, go to this page and you will see why http://www.hobbytron.net/CEN-RC-cars-trucks.html what I can't understand is how a rc company can have this large of an inventory and selection of rc stuff, but I am yet to actually see one in any hobby store ,I dont think I have ever heard of a member here owning one, I have read the claims but never heard any one back them up, since I am in the market for a couple more cars I wont rule anything out yet, Let us know what you think of yours when you get it.(pics)

This discussion is being had on many boards right now. I know it's happening on savage central about the genesis. All I can say is they will full on be a ocmpany to contend with. The Genesis is frickin sweet as hell. I would honestly like to hear from the end user at this point though.
