Anyone know of a decent program for making CD labels. I already have a ton of blank cd stickers I just need a decent program (the one that came with the stickers sucks big time).

I know about the sharpie and my burner came with the computer. A few years ago I bought a piece of turd label program and I wanted a better one that I could use some of my own pics on the label itself.Originally posted by FastEddy
Do you have a label installer? This is the most important part of the kit. If you try to put them on by hand you will get vibrations that will cause misreading if the disk and possibly harm to your drive.

DO NOT FOR ANY REASON USE A SHARPIE DIRECTLY ON YOUR CD! The ink in a Sharpie contains acid that will in time eat into the media and cause the CD /DVD to fail. If needed, put a label on first then use a marker. The best thing to do is get a set of CD markers.
I found a free program online that is a cd label creator and after several false starts I have everything aligned correctly now, aside from the overprinting but I can live with that.Originally posted by FastEddy
The Stopmer kit is the best made for ease of use and the installer is just about Mookproof as stated above. If you are going to make labels get one. Look around for a good price locally or order one from me. I know my price is good.
