if i want to go faster without changing my spur gear did i change my CB for a bigger or a smaller

a larger clutch bell, more teeth, will give you more top end, but you will lose some bottom end.

No problem. A smaller, less teeth, spur gear will also give you more top end.

What size motor are you running? If you have a decent beefy motor .28 or bigger you wont miss the low end at all. I'm running a 18T CB in my buggy and I would bet it has as much punch as a 16T. I can still smoke others off the line.
