I'm not from there but I just went through all 3 areas not long ago. If thats where you are then LUCKY YOU! I would move there tomorrow if we had an office there. Such a beautiful area of the country. Not to mention, so many kickass places to fish! I would have to steer clear of Reno though, they like taking all my $$$ lol

it is pretty but there is not much to do besides drink and gamble. The nearest track is over 2 hours away. And the jobs don't pay much, at least in my field (electronics)

TRACK!!!! Arent you like in buggy heaven? all that desert and dunes! Man if you dont have a buggy, get one and you will see there is more to do there than drinkin and gamblin! lol!

that's correct. I am at the base of Tahoe. I found a track about 2 hrs. away but haven't been there yet.
