The product looks nice but look at the price I only paid 16 for mine. But it was for a rustler.

true but he knows hes only one making them right now so of course hes gonna nail ya nd everything is fairly cheep for the brick :hehe:

Seems a little pricey considerring the stock ones do very well. Graphite ones are even better than stock so you can go with those too. Guess its a matter of taste at that point. I truly am not a huge CF fan anyhow. So I'm giving a biased opinion.

Man that is over priced. Thats about a 2 bucks worht of CF. If you got money to throw away like ED then you might get one other wise I wouldn't bother. What someone needs to make is a Carbon or TI Rear Pivot Block for the xxx-nt

as far as rusty pricing thats becasue they give that crap away tring to get it off the shelf. There has only been one batch of Rusty Carbon and Aluminum parts ever made and the people that made them are still thinking "WTF were we thinking" Like the guys that came up with Pepsi Clear or New Coke....X

I really need to look into making some CF parts though. Its not hard. Just need to find blank stock. Anyone have any ideas?

On hold - Have some BIG things going on in my personal life that would prevent me from being able to give it the devotion needed to deliver the quality and service I have to provide. I refuse to do it half ass. Soon enough though! What I'm working on now is a VERY good thing! So its just doing things in the right order.....

Any ideas on where to get a good deal on stock CF to be cut etc?

i aint gonna buy one yet i was just pointing it out more than anything i just got the xxx nt

Laying up carbon fiber sheets is very easy Chris. It's just like fiber glassing. Cutting, takes alittle more money and time. Anyone here could make duplicates of stock flat parts that are pretty good in quality. You would need a dremel and some diamond tips. Since getting into the RC industry, I have seen alot of junk Carbon fiber parts, the reason is cost, CB cloth is pretty expensive, so most manufatcurers use Polyesterstyrene resin instead of West System to make the stock. THe problem is that the finished product is not even half as strong as it should be. If anyone here knows someone who broke Carbon Fiber parts, most likley it was the polyester junk. If you all would like me to go into more detail, I will be happy to help.
