Carbon fiber madness

I got the clear body shell for my rustler with the idea to build a carbon fiber body.

I don't mean adding on top a skin of carbon fiber sheet ,but full carbon fiber.

Not sure how to do it exactly
From inside or outside ,2 fabric layers would be enough ?

when carbon fiber is being setup you need heat so your going to have to build a mold of some type.

Heat as use a furnace ?

I was thinking about wet apllication

a furnace.no like a oven I think you better check on process b4 you go do this.. so wet as in adding a bonding agent then ull need a vacuum unit. 4m plastic..

Carbon fiber is made in an autoclave, with lots of vacuum and heat controlled with a recipe of varying temps and vacuum pressures.

I have seen vids of people doing it in the hobby realm, but have never tried it myself. @tntpoof - have you messed with it? Would be interested to know how it turned out.

The old way of doing it was to airbrush,

You may be able to put the carbon fiber wrap on the outside.

I'm interested in seeing the progress of this if you go the actual carbon fiber route.
