I have a rs4 2 and have just got hold of a
lrp zr-32 only had 2 tanks through it is there a easy way to fit carb that has a rotary carb linkage ?
 
I'd really recommend you keep that slider carb.
Two solutions, first one would be to add an additional servo arm somewhere on the chassis to convert direction of movement:

option two is probably much easier, just extend your servo arm:

I can't answer your questions I never had that motor but good luck with your swap. Please post pics when done.

That looks do able I tested the engine in my savage for 10 minutes till it sucked a stone down the inlet 😢
 
Looks to have not damaged much just the bigger bearing I found a set of ceramic ones give them a go
