I saw somewhere on the web that you could use a RB TM523 carb on the 3.3 engine. Has anyone heard of this? The stock carb has a very small venturi compared to alot of other carbs out there and most people know that more air and more fuel will equal more power ;) gotta love that.=devil

Here's some good reading on the subject.

Personally I'd like to try the O.S. 11k carb (slide type, 3 needle) on my TRX3.3 engine.

I'm not after more power but rather better tuning. I hate the way the stock carb runs from 1/4 - 1/2 throttle no matter how you tune it. The problem is there isn't a slide needle there like other carbs have. The carb on my Kyosho GRX .28 motor has that needle (you can see it in the throat) and it tunes like a dream.
