Carb problem.

Well the gas line comes up from the bottom and almost level across to the carb. And no i dont leave it in there, i could stop for a few minutes and pull the air cleaner off and the carb was full. I pulled the glow plug pinched the line and turned it over to clear it out and when i sat it back upright i watched the carb fill back up. Then it was fine for a while then happened again.

If there is fuel in the tank and the fuel line comes out the bottom gravity will force fuel through the fuel line and into the carb if the fuel line is not pinched off or the tank has enough fuel. I had problems with mine constantly hydro locking the EZ start wouldn't roll the engine and I had to remove the glow plug to clear the engine. Any time it sits with fuel in the tank you should pinch the clamp on the fuel line and run the engine till it dies. That will prevent any problems

Ok. just wonderin cause it only does it on my buddys max and not on my revo. It makes it a real pain to have to pull the glow plug all the time to start the dam thing.

If you run your fuel line in a way that the line extends higher than the carb inlet, it will solve your problem.

Don't leave the tank full. If the fuel level is higher than the carb it will do that.....but it sounds like the carb tuning is off too.

Well the issue was two things, i found the carb slide had a slight catch and was not returning all the way every time. And also the tuning was way off. I believe the lsn was way to rich. I am now about 1 3/4 turns out and seems to be alot better.
