Carb leaking fuel

I have an old O.S. Max .12 engine I have been having overheating issues lately. Today I looked at it and noticed fuel leaking out of the side of the carb. It is underneath the Hsn on the nut between the carb neck and the Hsn. Should I also assuming that it has an air leak? It has been overheating no matter how rich I set it.
