well I'm new to nitro cars and have just finished the break in and then boom hit a tree and broke the tie rod

Well its been cold here lately well i dont really no how to tune the carb its hard to start and not wanting to idle or stay running

and it does have blue smoke comming out the tail pipe or more

you might need to higher you idle and cheack the temps it should be some where from 230 to 280

Pre-warm the engine with a heat gun or a really hi-heat hair dryer. Wrap the head with a baby sock or some foil to keep the heat in. Most mills don't like outside temps below 50 degrees.

well ill check that out later and it dont want to stay running probably because its real humid and it smokes really bad i mean really bad. but it wont stay running over a minute but ill try to take a heat gun to it

Reset your needles to factory settings and follow the above advice. Then tune from there.

i will do that and the smoke is comming out the exhaust

i know its supposed to have a nice trail of blue smoke

If you have a nice trail of blue smoke coming out of the exhaust that is fine. If you have raw fuel spitting out that isn't fine. In that case you are too rich.

LEANING!?!?! I think he might me talking about smoke coming off the engine head(could be wrong..) you want to RICHEN it if that's happening.

In this case qaart is correct. The poster is referring to exhaust smoke.

Raise the idle, not 'higher' it

But yeah as stated, reset to factory and go from there. Best thing you can do. :) Good luck!

hell eric had a slipper clutch problem... fixed it for him last night at work... thats how new he is to rc cars..... his was ripping all night long... I'm the one that has the problem that wont go away... way to high idle and what seems to be way to rich low end.. it just boggs down then if i hit the throttle it exhausts alot of blue smoke stutters for sec then takes off

Sounds like you are tuning it soo rich to cover up an air leak that is trying to lean you out. Have you tried checking for an air leak yet?
