The carb on my S-25 started spinning again. For what ever reason i can't pull the carb out. The screw is all the way out of the pinch bolt. The last time i pulled it out it was a pain but i got it out a lot easier. I've been twisting while pulling the carb and still nothing? Is there a trick to this? I've never in my life had this problem with my carbs. Is it possible that the pinch bolt has turned up or down causing it to pinch the carb neck ? I've been working on this for about 30 min...it wont freakin come out. I'm thinking about putting the POS in sight of crosshairs on my 30-06 and see if that gets the pesky bitch out!!!!! HPI is sending me a new carb (for free) but i gotta get the old one out first damn it!!!

Thats what it sounds like to me the pinch bolt.
got turned some how! get a rag and a pair of neddle nose vice grips. try to wiggle the bolt around...

hmm..I'm thinking how your using the rag....do you mean push in on the pinch bolt with the rag and on the other side try turning the PB with the pliers? or did u have a different idea?

Sorry the rag is to put on the end of the pinch bolt..So you you don't mar up the threads on the bolt.
But be gentle with it.

lol..my bad.....I've shoulda snapped to that. Will do that after the 10 o clock news...i need a break. Thanks for the suggestion!!!

Well that sure did it..the carb is out. Does anyone sell a pinch blot for the S-25 besides HPI? I want to try a new one since i think this one is whats causing me problems.
