anyone ever mess around with diff carbs i heard somebody got more power using a ofna force .26 carb on there 3.3 engine cause it has a bigger venturi allowing more air into the combustion chamber over the stock traxxas carb

I had an 11k carb on my 3.3, off an O.S. 18tm. It tuned better, but it made no more power and would cost you about 75 bucks. You're better off getting a whole engine.
i also have used 11k carbs. no trouble, tune easy, but no more power. the idel adjustment is still hard to get to on a jato.

Yeah it's tough when you throw in the mid range needle. I had mine working well, but put it back on the 18tm anyway.
