hmm thats what i thought at first but as i was browsing the internet on this issue i noticed that some rc nitro car owners are using some sort of silicone liquid to put the carb in,is that some sort of glue? would it be safe and keep the carb from twisting in the engine?

car instant gasket sealant would seal it but wouldn't prevent it from twisting. Its good as it has a high temp resistance. Would just try a new pince bolt. My F4.1 carb did this when I over tightened it. A new bolt solved it 100%.

You will want to seal the carb with a Sensor-safe high-temp RTV silicon along with the pinch bolt.

Oh right, so i need a new bolt and the carb needs sealant on it then, are all the rc nitro car pinch bolts the same?

Just recieved the new lock nut and the carb stil dont stay stiff in its Place its stil got the circular movement in the engine :s helpp?

is it alot of movement or just a little wobble back and forth? My Mac 28 does that but I've sealed the neck with RTV sealer and as long as it doesn't leak air I haven't had a problem with it.

right,i managed to sort out the problem, with another lock nut the carbs all sealed and fit in now going to start it up tomorrow hope it runs well though
