wtf.... i just got my new tranny in my evader and i got ready to run it i turned the remote and the servo started it and squeezed the throttle... i took the filter off and squeezed the throttle and the sleeve in the carb was open but the brake are on and if i pushed out the brakes would release but there was no throttle do u have any idea whats going on

Sounds like your throttle switch needs to be reversed/put on normal, and you need to check your linkages...

well its hard to tell exactly what you described but I am going to stab at it, sounds like your servo is reversed???? maybe??? so when you give it gas, pull the trigger, it applies the gas, ans when you push the lever forward, it will give it gas, and open up the carb

WTF are you asking? take the time to explain yourself better so that we aren't wasteing each other's time.

sorry but i didnt know how to put it anyway went to lhs and when they put the diff together there was a screw that was to long which was touching the brake which caused it to jam up............

........sorry for confusion

Okay we are still not clear what your problem is....
are you saying when you pull the throttle trigger the brakes are being applied?
and when you push the trigger it will open up the carb?
we can understand being eager to type your question and not being able to do it fast..but if you just type a bunch of jibberish it makes it hard for us to help you.....just slow down and type clear explanations please...

Edit:
nevermind I understand it....you went to your LHS and they fixed the problem already....take some grammar class man you are hard to read......

Grammar doesn't matter as much as just re-reading what you typed. Look over what you posted from the standpoint of someone who cannot see your car. Your description has to paint a good enough mental picture so that we can all imagine working on it for you. Glad to hear you got it fixed though.
