Just got home with my brand new picco .26max Only crappy part is I have to wait for the motor mount to come in.. either friday or I might have found one on ebay for acouple bucks cheaper!!! How are these engines anyways???

Got a question. which is what is the best glow plug to use with 20% nitro??? I dont want to use the wrong ones and burn it up or something stupid.. I havent been having good luck lately.. hense the new engine..

K i know this is probly a real dumb question but I am curiouse.. Would a traxxas glow plug (3232x hot) work in the picco .26maxx worth a crap or would I be alot better off getting a ofna plug??? I got a few traxxas plugs but I still need to get some of the ofna plugs and I hate waiting.. even though I am waitin on my new/used pipe for it anyways....

and the other question what is a good plug for the hpi rs4 3evo with the 3.0 engine in it???? trying to straiten everything out I have been using a traxxas plug but I would rather run the right plugs in it.. Thanks for the help!!

MC8 plugs are the best in my opinion and cheaper than other plugs. Traxxas 3232 plugs suck and are a waist of money and they burn out way to easy and fast. I rarely burn out a mc8 plug I end up changing it out before it burns out. Just my opinion though.

what brand is the mc8??? I was just wondering cause like I said I have a few brand new traxxas plugs so was wondering if they would hurt the engine or if they would work.. I will be breaking it in so I want to make sure it gets done right... I am running 20% odonel's fuel.. and what are better plugs for the 3.3's on the tmaxx's???? always looking for better quality..

MC8 is McCoy. I am going to go back to using the MC8, I tried the MC59 hot plug in my 3.3 and it burnt up on me really quickly. I used the MC8 for more than a gallon of fuel. I am also running 20% nitro. Sidewinder though.

Agree with Revo 3.3 - Use the cheaper traxxas plugs for the breakin period as you will probably foul out a few while running it so rich. Burn thru them and invest in a quality set for fine tuning. I also use the mccoys and like the quality. Although you can ask 10 guys and you will get 10 different answers. Its all in what your personal preferences are

This is very true, everyone says something different! The kid at my lhs told me to use MC8's one time and then all of a sudden told me to use MC59's.

Hey Matt -

IME The Key to those .26 Pico Maxx motors is the LSN(Low Speed Needle) needs to be turned out exactly 7.5 Turns from closed. I'd also get some high end ceramic bearings if it was mine.

Run 20% Nitro and it should be fine. Yeah Mcoy MC8's are excellent plugs. I've had lots of luck with Traxass plugs personally, I just wouldn't rank them among the best.

Peace
