yeah have flat washers then lock washer then screw the lock washers are squashed flat to indicate there tight so guess ill try some lock tight but i think there sliding,on the chassis.

Get rid of the flat washers, add the loc-tite. If it's sliding on the chassis, then your bolts have to be loosening or they aren't truly tightened. Make sure your mount holes are tapped enough that you don't tighten against the end of your threads instead of the chassis.

Make sure all of the mating surfaces are clean and oil free. also, use some brake cleaner on the threads and bolts and blow them dry. Couple of drops of the blue on the threads and you should be good to go as stated above.

Yep! The only way ta go....

is it possle that the chassis is becoming distorted under the 4 engine mount bolts?

like the bolts are making a dish like imprint?

You might want to also check to see if there werent any stripped out screw holes in the tranny case. The 8 screws holding the trans in place all need to be tight, if one or two of those are stripped out, that could also be causing the stripped spur...just to be safe

I had a similar prob on my old pro 15 max before I rebuilt it with a much sturdier chassis. What happened on mine was the stock chassis was flexing too much under hard bashing. Also, the screws and especially the engine mount eventually rubbed indentions into the flimsy chassis

well i put a foc in my truck found a crack in the motor mount, and replaced all that, and my tranny screws are stripped any way to fix this?without buying a new tranny?they wont tighten down very tight.and i think thats causing my tranny to move and stripping spurs

Yeah, there is a way to fix the stripped out screw holes in the trans without having to get a new trans.

I have heard that these work great, and are way cheaper than a new case or trans. Last time the screws stripped out on me, I ended up buying a new trans case, but next time, i think I will get a set of these inserts. Aluminum trans case would be the best fix, but they also cost way more.

You definately dont want the tranny to be moving around on you, that will cause all kinds of problems!! FOC is an awesome upgrade also.

let me get back to the begining here, you came out and said that the engine screws loosened up. locktight them lol. fixing that tranny case wont do anything if your engine is sliding around anyways.

Yeah, getting back to the beginning, he mentioned that the spur was stripping out on him. Tightening only the engine screws and not fixing the trans case when they are stripped (which as mentioned, they are) wont solve anything either. Loctite...absolutely, check and fix other issues....absolutely.

like i said i found a cracked motor mount had a busted ear and i did fix it,that's when i found the stripped tranny case

ok, so theres a new engine mount, and a new tranny case on the way for you lol. problem should go away. keep us posted
