I've got an axial .28 and I can't get this manifold back on. The little rubber gasket that goes around the motor and inside the pipe seems to be keeping the pipe off. Cannot for the life of me figure this out. I loved my savvy, but I can't get it back together! Any help or advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Okay, so I broke the seal trying to get it on. So I said eff it and high temp RTV'd it. But how do you get it on? I don't want it RTV'd forever...
 
I had the same problem. The new top hat gasket i brought was the same size but turned out being to thick and not allowing the pipe to go back on. I ended up shaving down the thickness with my trusty dremel so it was a super snug fit. My local hobby shop is useless!! Well its a toyworld.. Lol
 
I have a rc only hobby shop. Its just as useless. Its 4 minutes from my house and I still order 98% off line.
