Today I tried to do a little bashing and I couldnt even get the fuel too come up out of the tank . I have a roto start and I usually watch the fuel come up and around and hit the carb then I use the glow ignitor to fire . Can't get the fuel up !:violin:

did u block the exhaust. i have that same prob when its hot but not when its cold or even a lil warm

Make sure your fuel filters are not clogged with debries. Also make sure that you fuel lines are in good shape. Your fuel lines could also be pinched off by something, make sure your lines are all free from parts.

Had this problem once and it ended up being my HSN was turned all the way in. I had just completed some overhaul maintenance and for some reason, don't ask why, I had it all the way in.

How do I check the fuel filter on the sav 25 its an in tank filter

(My tank filter was DEFINATLY CLOGGED) I put Alchohol in the tank. (Just enough to saturate the filter). And used the suction from my filler bottle to suck the Alchohol thru the filter, into the filler bottle. Then I used compressed air to blow it in reverse, and blow out all the Alchohol and dirt debris. I did this about ten times. I put the tank upside-down when I blew the dirt and Alcholol out. It worked great. The Savage never has staleed from thi s since. I will make this a part of my "Preventative-Maintanance", as too prevent it from killing my Savage in the middle of a run again.

Hope this helps Ya!

So, I guessing you don't have an external fuel filter. That is what I was referring to.

Blow it Out.

The Ex, filter is simple. Blow air thru it in the opposite direction.

Till it's clean, Yes I have both. but you wont get fuel to the ex, if you can't get it thru the tank filter first. My tank filter clogged up first. Of course it see's the fuel first!

Good Luck.
