i have a 3.3 and runs good. my brother bought a team losi .26 and he is so proud of it. well he wanting to line up with me and i knew he could beat me i said sure why not.his is brand new and the guys at the track tune his up and running strong,mine i havent tune it in a year. when it said go with in 20 foot i was two truck lengths a head. so i will never doubt my 3.3 again.
 
Never doubt them they can surprise you at times... I never ran my tmaxx full speed because its so fast and the brake sucks on it. And i need to find a really big open place.. And before i do that i want to get a failsafe.. But good for you
 
A T Maxx is a lot lighter than a Losi Mt. Adjust your brake if it isn't working right. Either by the linkage or the 2 screws that hold the brake assembly to the tranny.

my tmaxx destoys all my trannys so far.. today my spur gear is all bent up and stripped and so far went through 2 and a half trannys.. should i get foward only conversion kit??
 
what do i do with the extra servo and the 3rd channel on my remote??

and if i wanted to turn my lights on and off with them would it work?(Putting servo in different place so i could controll lights. Would i have to re-programm remote??? and how do i make it work?
 
i have been looking on ebay but found nothing.

do you know the tmaxx with old style chassis but with 3.3???
the one with the black battery box and reciver?
 
well i have a tmaxx 2.5 with black battery box and skids etc. would a tmaxx 3.3 fit nicely in there?? do i need to post a picture and show you the truck. Because the new tmaxx's have longer chassis but i have the normal chassis. I think the 4909 has same chassis as mine
 
Oh, a 2.5. It's a 4910 then. Just do a search for a forward only conversion for the T Maxx 2.5. Should be about a $10 part. A shaft with one gear on it is all it is. Pictures always help.
 
A 3.3 would be a direct bolt in. Then you'd need to upgrade the rest of the drivetrain. Center shafts, diffs, and the half shafts. Do a search on here. Tons of 2.5 to 3.3 info.
 
yes it would I have one sitting on my shelf right now that I never drive, just get the foc and adjust your slipper, the 3.3 will drop right in and increase your fun a bit:)

so a 3.3 would drop right into it? But if a 2.5 is tearing up the tranny how much will the foc stand a chance?. But would it be worth it?? it still work with ezstart i have for 2.5??
 
Yes, yes, yes, and yes.:) Look through the old posts in the T Maxx forum and/or use the search feature. Everything your asking is answered in detail 1000 times over. You could stay busy reading for a month. Tons of good info.
