Hello. I'm unable to prime my Savage X. The fuel lines are all Ok, and when I remove the fuel line from the carb and attempt to prime, fuel flows freely. Is my carb clogged? If so, how do you "unclog" it? Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated!!
 
did you try holding the throttle open some while priming (at least 1/2 trigger) ? if fuel sat in the tank for a long time, then yes, the hsn is probably plugged with castor oil. if you blow fuel through the carb hard enough, it will clear out, but that's the easy way out.
