Hey guys,
I have a T-Maxx (model 4910) that I bought along time ago. I finally took it out of storage( been around 5-6 years! :\) the other day to start messing around with it with my kid, but couldn't get it to start. I tried and tried, and by doing so I saw alot of smoke from the ez start motor. So, needless to say I think I fried the ez start motor!
Anyhow, I am going to order a replacement, but figured I would ask around here if it were possible to install the ez start 2 system instead of the older system. Or is my truck too old to support the new system?
Also, since it has been so long running the truck, are there any pointers to get it running again? I know for sure the ez start has got to be shot considering all the smoke coming out of it, but other than that, I dont see anything else holding it back from starting. I changed the glow plug and glow lead wire already.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!
