This is the fun I woke up to this morning. The fire alarm went off in my apartment complex and I had to stand outside in my Jammies for an hour....oh yea happened at 6am Froze my ass Off....Fun Times LOL

I feel for you ...not fun. Beats the hell out of a real fire tho I suppose. Well maybe it would have kept your feet warm....

Then again O was reading on abcnews.com yesterday about -14 degree weather, and the water from fire hoses freezing to the building rather than putting the fire out Ick!

Kinda reminds me of the time I was taking my physicals for the Marines and the fire alarm went off when the group I as in was in our underwear doing the duckwalk. We all had to go outside in our underware and it was pretty funny.

Used to work in an upscale hotel a couple of years back. It was snowing outside and the fire alarm went off. Probably about 20 degrees. Everyone started coming down. I found smoke in the stairwell and told the front desk clerk to evac the building. Everyone was outside for a full hour. Turns out that it was some stupid little poop set off a fire extinguisher in the stairwell. I can't even tell you how many free nights we gave away that night. This was all at 4 in the mornin. Good morning hope all was well in your complex.

we had a fire last week when it was 8 below w/wind chill around 25 below and our gear was frozen solid. our gloves were freezing to the ladders and we where slip slidin every where...kinda fun...

One of my best friends is a Sr. fireman and has been blown up once, had a car blow up in front of him TWICE and has all kinds of wicked scars from small/big poop! Just scares the hell outta me!
